Google AdWords results are changing
Google AdWords ads will no longer be displayed on the right hand side of desktop results.This is quite a dramatic change, as ads will only be displayed top and/or bottom. Google has also said that it may show an additional fourth ad – four, not three as for what they class as ‘highly commercial queries’.
What does this mean?
It could mean that you will lose your first page paid position, less results will be displayed. This will only have an effect on paid advertising but also on organic search results as you would have to scroll down. We would suggest monitoring your Google AdWords and Analytics account closely to see if these changes result in a drop in traffic to your website.
