From Land’s End to John O Groats and a Guinness world record later

By 5th August 2016News

A couple of weeks ago we posted how Team Colliers, Smooth Radio and Rybrook Warwick are off to set a world record by driving the fastest time in an electric vehicle from Land’s End to John O Groats and we are proud to say that they managed to set a Guinness world record for the fastest time!
Setting off at Land’s End on Sunday 31st of July the team of 7 drove a total of 886 miles in 25 hours and 41 minutes all for the chosen charities. The journey itself wasn’t an easy one, with diversions across the country and not many charging facilities in Scotland it was a lot tougher than expected.  However the team still managed and shaved off 2 hours and 5 minutes of the original world record.
The i3 World Record team has raised over £8,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Global’s Make Some Noise and Whizz-Kid, and if you feel generous you can still sponsor these great causes. You can donate here.
