OWB get into the swing of things at NICE charity golf day

By 3rd July 2017News

OWB were proud to attend, sponsor and showcase their golfing finesse (hmm, maybe not!) at the 2017 annual golf day for Birmingham-based charity NICE – Centre for Movement Disorders.
Powered more by enthusiasm than skill, the four-ball super team consisting of Andy Wilkinson, Shari Bryan, Richard Thomas and Peter Sparks all immensely enjoyed the day at the prestigious Edgbaston Golf Course, which raised over £8,700 for the life-changing charity.
With its head office located in Moseley, NICE is a charity that transforms the lives of children and adults with incurable neurological movement disorders, such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and the results of strokes, all across the West Midlands.

OWB Managing Director, Andy Wilkinson said: “We’ve enjoyed an absolutely fantastic day at a beautiful golf course. We’re proud to support such a significant charity that helps so many children and adults push the boundaries of their potential.”

So with a shotgun start at 9.30am on the OWB sponsored 8th hole, the 18 hole round got off to an explosive start for Peter Sparks… and never looked back. Until next year!
