OWB and Lloyds Bank ‘Highly Commended’ at FSF Marketing Effectiveness Awards 2016
With sparkling fairy lights adorning every building in central London, it was easy to get into the party spirit for the FSF Marketing Effectiveness Awards 2016 on Thursday 1st December.
The OWB team donned their finest outfits and made their way to the Guild Hall Gallery, the truly stunning venue playing host to the annual Financial Sponsors Form Members’ Dinner and Awards.
Following introductory speeches, an entertaining and optimistic keynote from MP Guy Opperman, and a delicious three-course meal, the awards ceremony began, celebrating the most effective marketing campaigns within the financial services industry.
In 2015, OWB successfully launched ‘The Thoroughbreds’ – an internal awards and recognition package for the 300-strong Marketing Communications team at Lloyds Banking Group. With over 179 entries submitted, the awards exceeded all expectations and were a resounding success.
Based on this success, OWB and Lloyds Bank were proud to receive a Highly Commended’ award in the Internal Communications category for the Thoroughbreds project.
