10/2006 | Team Mastermindless at LDC Quiz

OWB delighted in coming a respectable mid-table position in the second National LDC Charity Quiz. At six venues across Britain, involving over 800 people in 138 teams, £80,000 was raised for regional charities.

"What a performance" stated Andy Wilkinson "we were up against it in the first round, but our huge brains and the late night swotting paid off. When we played the Joker in the music round and started to get a string of right answers we knew we were in the safety zone."

The Team, aptly called Mastermindless, featured:

Andy, Shari 'Brains' Bryan, Natalie "Stats" Hartley, Lizzie, The Joneseyboy and Howard the Hit-Man Taylor

"Next year we're going all out for the top spot, its going to be tough but we know we can do it" added Team Performance Coach Richard Oakley
